FeRRUM - Welt des Eisens
The newly constructed museum "FeRRUM - Welt des Eisens", located in Ybbsitz (A), is solely dedicated to the theme "iron" and the specific regional aspects related to this material.
The museum is located in an old renaissance building and it was completely reconstructed and adapted to accommodate the exhibition.
catx was commissioned by ARTEX Art Services to handle all multimedia applications. These included 19 video and six audio terminals plus three large scale projections. An internet terminal is included and the entire technical infrastructure was configured for automatic power up. The three Sony PX41 projectors are switched via a custom RS232/UPS module. Media post production was handled partially in-house.
