The exhibition in the Haydnhaus Vienna was completely redesigned for the anniversary year 2009. Aside from the historical themes, certain peculiartities surrounding Haydn's life are also featured. Apparently Haydn owned a parrot who outlived him for many years. This parrot became the main theme for the media installations, (re)appearing in various places in the exhibition.
