Volksmusik im Ausseerland

The Kammerhofmuseum dedicated an entire exhibition to the history of local folk music. In addition to the traditional exhibits, there are numerous interactive components which present historical footage and music. The highlight is an interactive game concieved and programmed by Hannes Köcher. It teaches the visitor the traditional forms of clapping ("Paschen") which accompanies the vocal groups of the region.
